Endings and New Beginnings

So if you’ve been following my writing journey you know that for a number of projects I’ve collaborated with my old friend Chelle Bruhn.  Well, sadly, that collaboration has come to an end.  She had worked with me on my most recent novel VEILED, but since it had been my brainchild we amicably agreed that I would move forward alone with that project (I gave her a few things in return for that, but the specifics aren’t important).  This transition is difficult on a personal level, but I am still excited about moving forward as a writer solo.  I’ve written a few solo novels before, so career-wise, I feel confident.  I am sad, however, about the two of us parting ways, but sometimes peoples’ lives go in different directions and their paths just aren’t compatible with one other anymore.

Because of this, for obvious reasons, I’ll be back to blogging here solo.

I appreciate all of your support at this time.  I’ve talked to a number of my friends–both writers and non-writers alike–and the support I’ve been feeling has been incredible.

For now I will leave you with the song I’ve been listening to non-stop the last few days. My goal is to be able to do it for karaoke on Friday, but I’m not sure if that’s going to happen (it’s harder than it seems, and it doesn’t seem all that easy).
